My only word of advice is not to get it cerekoted, because it is a bitch to get back on Smoke Composites is one of those companies. They recently started making carbon fiber parts for AR style rifles and pistols. Their history of making parts for the defense industry, has had a definite benefit for those of us looking for lightweight AR parts. Feb 1, 2022 · I'm running the handguard and stock on my GMR-15. Handguard was as heavy as the stock barrel nut, so i removed like 11 ozs from the front of the gun. Stock is very adjustable and feels great against the shoulder. I initially had issues with the stock "shortening" as i shot, but once i torqued the screw down further, that fixed the issue. .
